FDA WANTS TO BAN INDOOR TANNING BY TEENS

according to Student Science. In the average U.S. city, there are more tanning salons than Starbucks. More than 1 million people visit them every day.

But sitting under tanning-bed lights increases the risk of skin cancer, especially in children. Now, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has proposed a new rule that would prevent anyone under the age of 18 from indoor tanning.
